Ok, it's narrowed down to Bianchi and Spez.

Will go look at each again and decide... Cannot make up my mind!

Both are great bikes in different ways, Spez in black looks great and is well specced with great reviews. The bianchi looks good and I find myself attracted to it purely because it's a Bianchi ( love the brand) and it has character and is less common (plus has great groupset and reviews)

What is the spec on both those bikes if I may ask?

Much better value for 60k than the OP options

That RDO is supposed to be off the hook. +1 on looking about rather than just heading for the nearest Spez.

Those SLX shifters seems very out of place. The Bianchi looks like it has the better setup while it is my opinion that the spez is the superior engineered bike.

Difficult decision between 2 good bikes. If you go for spez ask them to swop shifters for xtr or try do a deal on a xx1 groupset rather

Why don't you go Chinese carbon with super sweet parts build?

Hell, you could buy two frames and have one for spare, throw xx1 on there and some awesome wheels and forks... And then still have change for a new pair of bibs and a nice top end helmet...

Does one really pay R60K for a bike with SLX shifters that gets used to ride around on dirt roads these days?

Damn, I'm either really smart or live on a different planet based on what I've built up for half that. Nuts.

Swopping them for XTR is a R1500 option. Thats what I am doing with mine.
