Slandereous post

A noob served as a knormoer on a post about a hubber who sold a bike. The post whoever misfired as some statements made were not aligned with Hub SOP, R&R or T&C. The noob's post started to buckle and the amount of high octane replies from Hubvillers soon resulted in a massive tappet knock. End result was a thread that seized up completely.

Wow, talk about friendship and standing together, now this is a world i want to be part of, saw the BS, and thought what a damn pot of bull, i dont know the seller, but i do know no one in their right mind would do what was claimed, just happy its over and done.....if not i know people who know people who know even worse people, sure we could work this out somehow....lol

TheHub is a close knit family and most of the times stand together and look out for their fellow cyclist.... sometimes we moer mekaar and sometime throw around teef klappies (as Wyatt like to call it hahaha) but we stand together.... the golden rule though is to never go where angels fear to tread

I am in the process of examining options to eliminate any harm that may have been caused to name and reputation so would rather not go into the legal ramifications at the present. Suffice to say that the poster hastily removed the much maligned version of events that he posted after I was kindly made aware of the thread by a fellow Hubber, only three days after the initial post. This therefore left an adequate amount of time for sufficient people to acquaint themselves with the slanderous and most unfortunate character assassination. I am currently investigating how best to take this matter forward and yet again thank all of you for both your interest and support.

That post should have been moderated the moment it was posted. Surely we can devise a way to more closely control and monitor 1. who signs-up to The Hub, and 2. what they say in their first few posts? Just my 2c.
