Hey guys. Have any of you got an idea of where to get sulfur/sulfer (not sure of spelling) powder?

depending on quantity, your local pharmacy? (Afr: Swael)

Fence building over the weekend.

One bed was completed (forgot to take a pic), next step is irrigation and working in some more compost/manure.

and my first seedlings are pushing through, granted its not veggies but I reckoned I should start my companion plants first.

at this stage going with marigolds and nasturtium

Can someone please me...... My garden is being overrun by hornets

Small yellow and black ones. There is a lot of them

What can I do about them?

I normally just nuke em with a pesticide at the nest. But lots of people wouldnt, instead they would get tortured with soapy water.

For me its a decision between my veggies or the insects. Veggies rule however

Hi All, Glad i cma across this topic as i have started preparing an area for a herb nad veg garden.

By no means hav ei got green fingers so and advice would be welcome. I have not managed to read all the replys to this topic so apologise if there is a repeat questions. Seen some of the pics and your gardens are looking excellent so well done.

I was reading that raised beds give more space and is a better idea than growing in rows. So i was thinking of either paving, grassing or even just concreting the area then buys those wooden raised beds to plant my herbs and veg in.

Some advice would be welcome on this and if it is just better to plant directly into the ground in rows. Looking at having this doen by next summer as i am a bit late in getting the ball rolling and will take some time. I will post some pics of the area when i get a change. Thanks
