An update..

 

Ok so it was a pellet gun of sort, well it was more,

Location was right in front of Kibler park, at that T junction from the left, after Kibler park, coming towards Alberton on Swartkoppies.

 

My friend was shot twice in the arm, (one pellet was removed by Dr, other was through and through) which implies more than one shooter or gun, since you can not have multiple successive shots with a pellet gun, 2 shots through the arm, while passing them, so it was no accident, it was intentional, directed at them, as cyclist.

 

In other words, guys/ladies, there is someone out in the Kibler park area that hate cyclist, be careful.

 

Cyclist is ok, she's a strong lady, went out for a ride on Tuesday, refusing to make this stop/impact their return to SA.

Actually you can, CO2 or PCP pistol/rifle.

The pellet... was the standard pointed cone with a second triangle/tail. Was not aware you get them in a auto loading/gas driven gun.

+/- 2001 I was shot in the arse by some laatjies driving past me, also with a BB or pellet gun.

I suspect they came from vandyk park as that's the direction they were driving in when they sped off laughing

 

Luckily the arse is mostly soft tissue and under tension while cycling... the pellet did not have much chance to penetrate...hehe

Should maybe think about hooking a 'bomb' (CO2 cannister, not a real bomb - just to evade any confusion) into some kind of self defence pelet gun thing to shoot back or something, as pepper spray probably won't have the distance. Freakin' crazy country we live in...
