Latest find after a clean, new grease and a bit of elbow grease.

Beauty of Pista pedals is the undersides are not scuffed from trying to get the pedal to spin.

The leather straps are poor so I found these in the interim. Any idea of manufacturer?

About 18 months ago I had an opportunity to acquire an immaculate set of Bora One's. I never pulled the trigger and still regret that decision. Loving my Eurus but not the same. One day I may get another chance.

Just finished this rebuild of a lovely old Look KG66!

Bikes, wine, RC planes, I'm impressed  You know, a man can never have too many toys.

The leather straps looks like Afredo Binda's. I still have a set!

I also like Alfas but still won't drive one.......

Have never owned anything but Shimano group-sets

Love my Eurus wheels though.......they crap all over any Shimano wheels I have ever owned including my RS80's

Yeah except Campagnolo is more reliable, better looking and IMHO better performing than Shimano. Only problem with it is that its pricey to buy.

I rode Shimano for years and them switched to 10sp Record and its chalk and cheese. That was 2 years and 6000km ago, not a single problem.

And the wheels are very nice...
