What if bman was in on the scam from the start? And this has been an elaborate plot to get unwilling hubbers to place orders. Who needs "the mentalist" when we have the hub

you not work at all with your mind so far astray?

Love the mentalist though

Here is a Brennans pic of wable and box with the dura ace groupset

Now that this has been resolved, shouldn't this pic be removed? I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be with my address being stuck up somewhere for the whole internet to see.

pics are up.

Again this isnt to have another go at the seller but to help others on here realise the mistakes which were made by myself and the seller.

Seller should never have used an internet pic.

I should have done more homework into the pic.

Epic rain coming

Always catches me off guard that most of the people on this forum assume everyone is an MTB addict.

(Sorry, just caught me again with this drivetrain thread, and I'm horrified to see people getting 3-4 thousand km on a chain or whatever, and then I realise how glad I am that I only ride road - even in the rain.)

@Bman: Sure I have an opnion about those scratches - but I reckon Ronsha has done enough to take the matter up in private with him. This is really feeling like a bit of a mob thing now...

Guess people are not happy these days unless they have something to complain about!!

BMan, you bought used parts of the hub so should expect scratches unless the ad said new. If you don't like what you have recieved and is not as specified then your first recourse should be to speak to the seller and discuss the matter and if is something you feel strongly about, maybe arrange to return items and get a refund.

From what have seen so far am sure Shaun who sold you the items would arrange to take them back and refund you as he has done all that he said he would and more in the face of unwarranted criticism.

Instead you prefer to try and slander the guy further in a public forum! Urged on by hubbers who obviously have nothing better to do than stuff popcorn and enjoy mob mentality

By your own admission, you got a good deal at a good price, and am sure the price reflects that the groupset is used and will have scratches.

There's always one!

I am more then happy with what I have received and your post is a total waste of time!

I have not tried to slander anyone further and have said I'm 100% happy!

Hence why I have thanked Shaun!

Hubbers asked to see pics of which I have posted - as well as to point out to other noobs that posting a pic of something your selling in perfect - i.e. not one scratch condition to actually selling another is not right!

MOd to shut down with pleasure!

There is only one way to minimise risk with deals like this. The seller must have atleast a 100 post before being able to sell anything. Scammers looking to make a quick buck doesnt have time to participate meaningfully on any forum.
