Not sure if its been brought up before but why do the bike manufacturers not have a website where you can go register your bike using the s/n. Surely then you will know immediately if your bike is fake or not.

Silverback warranties have to be registered online.

I spoke to Robbie and here are the facts: they were all fully aware and totally informed that the pinarellos we're not genuine prior to the purchase. Despite being wealthy they wanted to save money but still have the designer label. After being humiliated in Australia and forced(?) to buy a new bike he develops a sense of indignation and self righteousness and exacts revenge by going the cowardly route and contacting carte Blanche, regardless of the fact that he is jeopardizing someone's livelihood. He only has himself to blame. No one put a gun to his head. Take responsibility!

Fear keeps one loyal, if they are afraid they have something to lose, they'll do what you tell them to

Did the CS guys give you an original pinarello with the money they made selling the OP a fake?

To be clear, the invoice stated R91000, the invoice is not disputed by CS so do you really believe someone would willingly and knowingly pay that amount of money for fake bike, wheels and bars.

Contact Wyatt Earp here on the hub, or call him at his shop, Summit Cycles in Kyalami.

I bought my first bike from him 14 years ago, and it is still the genuine article.

Anton is the man. first dealt with him some 10 years ago. He's not going to sell you fake ****...

How to get to 150 pages quickly..........

Fake HUB profiles for Robbie Gallinetti and/or John Fitzsimmons.......under their own names.....

(and also determine who are the bluntest tools in the HUB shed......trolling, visvang, baiting, mocking, dare, whatever....I need to climb the virtual food chain ladder)

I do not agree with your post, if you know Robbie and John please inform me why they never just worked out a deal on the frame and wheels and walked away after the debacle began ?

[Robbie and John sold fake Pinarellos].....regardless of the fact that [they were] jeopardizing [their own] livelihood. [They have] only [themselves] to blame [for breaking the law and misleading their loyal clients]. No one put a gun to [their] heads. Take responsibility!

There, Corleoni (gangster, huh?), helped you out a bit.

a New Zealander that is literate! Rare species
