This past Friday, and for the 21 year, a husband and wife team have put together a Christmas ride / event for the kids at the Red Cross Oncology ward, this year was my second ride for them.

It is not possible to describe the feelings running through you, a mixture of extreme joy and sadness for these little ones.

We also contribute monetarily to the event for gifts, etc for the kids so that they can have a happier Christmas.

All you need is a Harley with a sissy bar and spare helmet to join in if you want :)

Below clip is from one of the riders who came along.

More than a week after being told that he will try and get the bike done that night, I am still waiting and there has been no response to 8 messages after this.

You get excited, and then you get disappointed again.

Sooner or later you going to need to make a final decision on this mess .........

Got another voice note, after about a weeks messages being ignored.

"Hi, XXXXXX. Um, ja sorry. I was just, uh, had a family member pass away. I'm on my way back from Swellendam now, uh, from the funeral. Um, so ja. Um, I'm just in search, I found a... You know last time with the flywheel story where the flywheel was ****** up and all of that? WhichXXXX, uh, gave another flywheel but it was a 640 one. But the ignition curve, the pickup is completely wrong for 640 versus 65. So I found another flywheel for it, um, that the guy is willing to trade. So I'll go pick that up tomorrow and, um, ja. Then I can put it in and then it's all good, which is all complete. Everything is just, uh, the starter cover's off so I could just swap the flywheel around. Then it's all sorted."

So let's see .... if I get really lucky I have a new toy for the Dec. holidays coming up.

What are the chances that one of you have a clutch cable and outer for a Dyna that is a little longer than std.

Looking to get a set of riser bars for the Fat Bob to get me sitting more upright with my back, and need to replace the clutch cable, got a throttle cable today and then extend the brake hose too.

Hopefully there is enough slack in the wire loom for the controls when I raise the bar height.

If the cable's not long enough, try Cable Super Service in Woodstock. They could make up a new one using the fittings from the old.  They did my accelerator cables on my old Beemer when they broke...

I think this guys is just taking the P1ss now.  You could assemble that Katoom several times over in the time he has had even with all his alleged drama. As I mentioned before, some folks have a shite time of life but you still sort your clients out.
I would go and pick up the bike along with any other spares of value to my losses…
