Any pictures of this notorious jump/bombhole? I'm intrigued.

You will be underwhelmed...it doesnt look like much, bit if you catch it at speed and launch wrong....well then, you going to have a kuk taste in your mouth

In my case I rolled the bombhole a few times with Nofearnofun (as Haley also advises). I wasn't even jumping more than 500mm. I wasn't even trying to go faster when the rear wheel squirmed on the launch. It just loaded up strangely and sent me sideways enough to miss the landing. Not anybody's fault other than my own misjudgment.

I don't think I will ride with that Wolverine tyre on the back anymore. It has squirmed on me a few times in berms and other bombholes.

for the benefit of noobs like me, what's a bombhole?

Where the trail goes sharply down and then sharply up the other side. Usually a round crevice or a big hole in the ground.

Here is a pic with my back to the jump... Doesnt help I know, but just want to make sure we are talking about the same place...

Yep. Looks like the Spruit laundromat right there. The actual trail is not as hectic as the terrain in that picture makes it look.
