Disylizzy Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 seems like there's enough debate on it that not everyone's happy, sure some of it might just be sour grapes!! pity it's become a popularity contest requiring campaigning to win. I want to see brilliant photos winning. Suppose being a semi-pro doesn't even get you to the shortlist if you don't pitch in and motivate why yours is best! ps. but in general the photos have been cool, even if the 'best' one doesn't win.. keep sending them in guys! I see your picture was selected for today's pic. So you're saying that you're just going to sit back and hope that you may get the most votes? Or is your competitiveness going to kick in and you're going to try to garner as much support? I would think that as someone that's keen on the more extreme challenges that sports have to offer, that you're more than likely to pick the latter option. Just my 2c.

I couldnt tell you as in know nothing about photography. But to be honest it looks like any other postcard pic out there. It doesnt set itself apart for me as a lay man. So I am the same as a teenybop music fan in that I will go for the equivalent of Onedirection rather than the Carlos Santana equivalent. If that makes any sense

For me, it is not how technically good the photo is, its the emotion that is captured in the photo. Captain Fastbastard Mayhem 1
