Not sure if it supports competing against others though, or how it handles riding a GPS route. All the other paid programs seem to be similar in cost, around $10 per month, give or take.
BicyclePower Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 For this who are having problems with their CycleOps PowerSync / PowerBeam giving very high speed and power data please check that the black tape on the non drive side of the alu roller drum is still there if not it can lead to high speed readings and thus give bad power data.

HdB Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Cool thanks. Ive got the new Vortex Smart I also use a Vortex Smart, and it works perfectly with the VirtualTraining software. Just check that your trainer has been updated to the latest firmware.

It seems the black tape that is on the trainer drum helps when there is a lot of light in the area. I moved the trainer from a darker lounge to an open sunlit area. I think the tape helps the sensors pick up contrast. so all good to go for winter training... Thanks again Bicycle Power for the good back up service and support.
