You want the bike to at least last you a couple of years. 26" is at the end if not past the end of it's era. Only people still on 26" are hipsters and roadies who have a spare Mtb . Red Zone Posted July 1, 2014 Share That's a good bike, give the man 8 - 10 k depending on condition, specs, wheels etc... You are buying a 3x9 with alu frame so it is old tech and you will probably outgrow it if you are planning on doing a lot of riding and racing. Dont worry about this whole 26 vs 29 thing, there isn't really that much to chose from unless you are planning on racing at the sharp end or doing long boring district road rides Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
