Would be great, I like the part at the end,,,,NO NEED TO CALL THE COPS :)

 

Picture the scene,,,,,,walking through ALEX. holding your smart phone in the air knocking on doors saying, oh hello MR 6,5ft NIGERIAN my bike has a tracker I want it back,,

Where do these people live? Canada? Definitely not in sunny Southern Africa!

That lame ass "bike thief" did not even have no knife . . .! Shameful!

 

When I read "bike spike" I at least hoped the seat will remotely click lose, fall off, and they get a seat post in the bunghole . . .

This is useless .

I have emailed the guys at TrackR to see if and when it will be available in SA, I see a problem with it though in that it uses crowd GPS, which means it will only give a position on the stolen bike when it passes near bye someone else using TrackR.... I doubt there will be many people using the TrackR app down in the ghettos :blink:

I would tend to disagree with you there. I think there would be PLENTY of "used to be owned by me" bikes in tha ghetto maan. However you would need to have a lot of stolen bikes and ex owners with that trakr, all clustering together to be useful ...... i guess.
