As we build-up to a strong strong line-up at Vuleta, I enjoyed this blog from The a Secret PRO

This edition is particularly juicy.

Enjoy!

Good article.

This was an interesting paragraph:

For a start it looks like Theo Bos is going to MTN-Qhubeka. The word on the street is that the team is bolstering its squad and that Brian Smith (who used to run Cervelo Test Team) is coming on board and has brought on Cervelo to the team next season. Expect big things from MTN-Qhubeka and don’t be surprised to see them at the TdF next season and at WorldTour level in 2016. They’ve also signed some other big name riders who you’ll hear about shortly.

Eish,

TBH I don't think there's going to be a great team dynamic here. And it was important enough for Sky to leave Wiggo out just to make sure everyone on the team is pulling 100% for each other. Considering the animosity between team manager and Betancur, and the fact that the lighty has been saying out loud that he's one of the only riders on the team who wins anything, I don't see how these boys are going to get up every morning and bury themselves for each other as they did at the TDF. They were the best team at the TDF by quite a margin. I'll be watching with interest how they get up for this one.

Fully agree with you, can't see them performing. I think FDJ will do quite well but we will know soon enough.

“Going for the win will certainly be tough, but we’ll give it everything we’ve got.... I'm really pleased with how my recovery has gone since the Tour. I’ve been training hard and the support team are pleased with my progress. I’m a little bit light on racing days this year, so getting a grand tour under my belt will not only help me now, but it will also help my preparation for next year.”

Froome Dawg, salivating to race well

This GT is the perfect opportunity for Quintana to walk all over the two top cyclists in the world. I exepct Froome to be stronger than Contador, due to the extent of their injuries, but this has been a focus of Quintana so he will be super strong.

I hate seeing Contador not in top form. Let's hope the recovery did him good.

I am happy for the Vuelta event that it has the topmost GC line-up for the year

It's always the stepchild of the 3 Grand Tours

Watched and admired by a very few, relative to the other two.

GO QUINTANA

Thats interesting indeed!

Rumour has it that EBH is moving from Sky to MTN-Qhubeka where he will lead the charge in the spring classics.
