Velogames has finally got their fantasy league up for the Vuelta. Who wants to play?

Did the Giro, Did the TDF, so lets round the Grand tours off with a bang

Unfortunately it's not the same as the TDF (Ultimate Dream Teams). They haven't done one for the Vuelta.

So it's back to Velogames, which we used for the Giro.

League Name: The Hub SA

League Code: 20091953

Here are the game rules.

And the scoring system.

Deadline for entries:

19:00 CEST (Central European Summer Time) on Saturday 23rd August 2014.

I've already posted this before, but here it is again...

VUELTA FANTASY LEAGUE BY SCORITO

This is quite a bit more involved than Velogames, and should appeal to people who want a more strategic and detailed fantasy league than Velogames.

For me, this is the best fantasy league format I've come across. With your budget available you get to pick an expanded team of 16 - 20 riders. Then you have the freedom to switch your riders before each stage, depending on the profile.

* Choose 3 team leaders that will be able to score double points.

* Pick 9 cyclists and 1 team leader for each stage.

For those who are interested, the Hub mini-league can be found at:

“Mentally, I am in probably in the best shape I have been...In the Tour last year I went in in top form. This year I really think I am getting better every day towards the race, and that is a really exciting prospect, as far as being able to build form as the race goes on... The third week is going to be really difficult so it is going to be really important to go in really fresh. I think I have got that advantage over everybody after obviously not having raced much this year.”

Only tomorrow and Friday left to get your fantasy team signed up.

The two Hub mini leagues are looking seriously skraal right now. Only 2 people in the Velogames league and 3 in the Scorito league so far.

Come on folks :)
