F_R_A_I_L you do more than your share bud. Humanity needs you to continue with your inspiring work.

Good on you, Pain or Shine. You do a lot for the cycling community - so thank you! (Even if you are a MTB sort, but that's not your fault really.)

Watched a channel last night my kid chose out of curiosity for the remote.. Soweto TV. If you want perspective of how humanity is failing in the townships, there are a few programs that deal with crime issues. One point made in the human trafficking saga is that all respect for neighbours is lost, there is no longer a sense of ubuntu. The lady made a plea to take interest and treat [the roadies] as family, know their trouble and stand together in hard times..

Sadly this has been lost in the suburbs for many years and crime is now on the doorstep. It is only with vigilance that it is pushed back again.

With a few 9mm rounds.

Not to do with bike jackings, rather with child rape. Heard someone say on the radio that the perpetrators have a disease in their brains and that it is treatable. With 9mm medicine administered carefully to the brain! (I know it isn't funny, but you have to excuse me, I have a dark sense of humour and couldn't help chuckling.)

It seems that there have been a few incidences in those areas without street lights around Constantia and Tokai, unfortunately with bright lights we are making very easy targets. I am going to stay in areas with good street lights in future, sad because Spaanschemat rd is one of the best cycling routes in the area, but its just too easy for criminals to ambush you there.

I dont believe there is any weapon that can make you safe from someone jumping out and blikseming you off your bike. There is just not enough warning.
