Another strava-fail:

 

There are only 2 HC-climb segments in the Gauteng region and both are near Carltonville. Both are steeper than Alpe d'Huez.

 

My only explanation is someone recorded a segment on a gold freight train out of Western Deep Levels.

I've had something similar happen on strava, riding out near Harties. Coming up the R512, stopped at Nikitas for (a) beer(s) and stopped the computer. Started it again 1.5 hours later, and air pressure had dropped significantly (joys of barometric altimeters). Made it look like one moerse climb halfway up.

That happens, you can just do the altitude correction on strava, sorts it out :thumbup:
