Love your kit. Milky - I am sorry you punctured but i am GLAD you called me to see if I had a spare wheel else my "weekday" alarm would not have gone off and I might have missed my race. I am sorry I could not help you but at least your misfortune had one upside. I am sure the missus enjoyed a Sunday morning lie in with you and baba.  Results not up on Racetec yet. boo hiss. Amashova is. My guy missed his start group because of traffic, poor bugger.Â

Thor Buttox Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Haven't been on the road bike since the Argus, and I haven't felt pain from sitting on a bike like today before. The last 72km was a standing time trial and that Atlantis Road blessed me with it's multitude surprises and gifts. Gees, I better get some road miles in before the next races.

(forgot how bad and bumpy that section is.) Sorry to hear about your misfortune, Milky. I agree 100% The road surface was terrible from Atlantis to Melkbos, and i hope the organizers choose a better section next year.Especially if you have to hold your handlebars from falling of the stem for the last 30Km as well

Pure Savage Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Was a great day out. Started in E bunch and caught, D, C and bits of B. The pothole road was pretty bad, motorbike was so close to us we could not even see the potholes. Sat on the front for most of the day and then had a great lead out from the team to end up 2nd cross the matts. Great race, very misleading with no wind. Cool event and thanks to outriders for an awesome day on the bike!
