'Dale Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 The cyclist name was Shown Breytenbach. Was one of our club's members (TCS). The driver in the bakkie apparently passed vehicles in the yellow lane and that is when he hit Shown.RIP Shown Oh sad, manRide In Peace, man

I know almost every Cyclist in Pretoria has to use that road at some time. It must be so hard to deal with such a tragedy for everyone that known him... Sterkte

Happened on the downhill just before the turnoff to Wapadrand. No excuse to overtake there. None.
