Here's my Dale. Complete XX 2 × 10 groupo with DT Swiss Tricon wheels. As is in pic without water bottles, and 150g Sealant per tire, it just comes in under 9,9kg

6.4kg not light??? Is race legal not 6,2kg?

race legal is 6.8, he means by todays standards - ax lightness, trek emonda etc all making bikes sub 6kgs. Have a friend who has an ax lightness and his bike is sub 6kgs with his training wheels, but too scared to hit a pot hole or tighten a screw

Swift D'vore with XTR & X0 crank. RockShox XX. KCNC post, stem & bars. Was 9.7kg before I destroyed the AC Race wheels. Prob a little more now.

Not much that isn't carbon there.

Ok, ok, I'll post a heavy beast...

 

At 17.6kg this heffer weighs as much as 2 of most of the bikes here :ph34r: :lol:

Believe it or not, that's on the lighter side for a DH bike. Especially when one considers that this has no carbon on it, and has a custom extra long frame.

 

A DH bike weing in around 15 (Like GM's) can set one back over 100k... easily! :blink:

This is my weight weenie 8.98kg not to bad for a Large with 2x10 :whistling: . Trek S/F painted matt black. A lot has changed since this pic, wheels, crank, brakes and bar as reliability out weighed weight. :ph34r: She is now 9.4 with a bell and is bullet proof. (will put an updated pic)
