He didn't make SA world's due to not racing locally, so that's not a negative IMO. Sure he placed better than high 30's though... Or was that only in qualis?

Or was that only in qualis?No. Greg also doesn't race the nationals. It's my understanding that the team is picked pretty much on UCI points. Garlicke and Pottie race World Cups, IXS and Nationals. All of those races pay out UCI points. Hence them making the team and him not. He wasn't alone tho. Sam Hill didn't make the Aus team and Peaty didn't make the UK team.

There was word last year that the team would open a racer's slot for Ragot if she decided to race, but that in general, she was part of the mondraker support crew. If i'm not mistaken, she was the only racer to consistently challenge Rachel. Given Ragot's distance from the sport for the past 2 years or so, she may not be at her sharpest, nor choose to be so again (given the reasons why she walked away). But i would love to see someone put the screws to Atherton.
