The car's side also has lines running through the intersection, indicating the major flow of traffic. The parked truck meant the cyclist was unsighted by the truck.

Stretch Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 This looks like a yield sign for the truck driver image.jpgimage.jpg added to that, both flows of traffic have a "yield for pedestrians/cyclists" crossing and sign...there was no pedestrian for the car, but there was for the truck. of course, it looks fairly suburban and that car was also driving hellish fast too...so a little to blame too

Even if he was more alert, he still would not have seen the truck from where he was....
