Shipping Delays due to Post Office Strike

the Mrs collect some Chinese shipments from cape mail yesterday, took over 2 months to get here.

 

I was advised that JIMC is working yesterday but not at full capacity.

I ordered some handlebars in August,they arrived at the wit pos hub on the 19 august and been there ever since . Am sure will there is a good chance that I will never see them. Called the central help line and they closed,my local p.o opens some days and others it doesn't. What an absolute disgrace this wholes debacle is,and sends a clear message to those striking that they can get away with virtually anything they please.

 

Best of all on the slip with the tracking no ( what's the point of having a tracking no)

It says "we deliver whatever it takes" never has a slogan be more untrue.

 

I will NEVER use the post office again and rather rely on postnet's counter to counter for R99 2-3 days. Awesome service and deliver on time as promised.

Watched an interview with the union boss this morning. He said they will review the offer from the PO but noted they will only accept 10% (originally wanted 15%) as a minimum. PO last offer was 6.9%. We should know very soon which direction things will go.

Hmm I'm still getting etoll accounts???? The only post I don't care about is the post I get. I think it arrived on a Saturday and it wasn't in my post box like the usual dude puts it in. It was just sitting next to the box. So I think they using other people to deliver them.

Nope you need to call the JIMC and they can lookup the international number against the DB and give you the local tracking number.
