I didn't see any photographers.

Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this one again. The amount of singletrack they cram into this race is staggering! And it's really great riding too.

The trail opposite Red Barn was awesome. I know this is the area where there were lots of bike jackings a while back so I'm assuming it's not safe to ride there? Would be great if the Barn can inorporate that piece of trail into their property.

My mate also hit that branch. Had to wait for him about 8kms in. Scored himself quite a nasty bruise.

I really enjoyed the 30Km Race. Nice single track. I managed a 1:56, after I stopped and offered a fellow cyclist a tube, about 10km in. The guy had nothing with him, no pump, no patches nothing.

Will definitely do this one again.

What a cool race! A batch for the 50km and managed a 2:10.  Crazy fun singletrack that just kept going and going!!

Had a front wheel wash few kms from the end, surprised to see the track so dry after all the rain, but no injuries and plodded to the end!

Will be back!

The mobile cheerleader with the yellow helmet was a nice touch, would be even better if he could improve on his motivational repertoire chant of "Go go go go".....

Best motivation I got was from the guy at the top of the big drop saying "there's no chicken run, do it, do it!"

I didn't know it was coming so I didn't even think about it. Wish there had been a few more :-)

Same for me when I rode the race in June. The drop off is on you so quickly you don't have time to think about it and back out. Just go.

This time I knew it was coming, but now you know you did it last time, no wussing out now!

I'm really impressed by the singletrack in this race. This drop off included.

Drop off?

Not a drop off, but more a very steep decent off the top of the dam wall. The guy at the top was shouting "Don't think, just go!", had a good laugh while flying down there

I had a pedal strike on full flight and ended up bruised and with a broken handlebar at the 20km mark .So I made the most of it and rode the whole course with only my right bar and front brake .Needless to say I had to slow down but still managed a mid field finish .I did not know there was so much single-track so close by .Will be back soon
