My Spaztic Plastic Frame build (not all parts are in the pics, only a couple of parts bought from the previous owner)....

  • 26'er Stumpy Expert 140mm travel Frame in Bright Green / Black
  • Spastic Plastic SRAM Crank with 34t Single Ring (Bike is coming with a 2 x ring spider)
  • CSIXX 110g Guide
  • 150mm Revelation RC3 (Yes there is no "T" for this fork) with 20mm thru axel and taper steerer
  • Arch EX on Superstar Trizoid hubs
  • 2.3" Maxxis Minion R (For the front), 2.2" Purgatory rear
  • Stem/Handle bars undecided, will have a better idea once built up - will more than likely run a old bar stem to start with and get a feel for the bike
  • grips undecided
  • Seatpost most likely a command post
  • Saddle will be a Tundra, unless something else comes along
  • Brakes are Avid Codes (203mm F, 180mm R)
  • S-Werks underpants on order

Not the best pics of the frame, when I get all together I will take decent ones.

So you better get out of my way on the trail, and quickly, and don't expect me to move over when you want to pass ...... also don't park in my parking spot at the trail head ....even if I am not coming to the trail :P

Sure you going to have many happy miles on her

Wanted to fix my wife's old 26er so that she can get riding again. Everything was shot, so got her this instead. And it was cheaper than trying to repair her old bike. Does anyone know of charities that will accept the old bike as a donation? Still some good parts that can be built over to another bike.

What about that place in Fisantekraal run by Brenna Coupland? Ask your brother about her

Built the Stumpy up to near completion last night. Thanks to load shedding it was a late start!

Final bits and bobs later today. Overall the frame looks great, and I think the build will eventually be good looking.

Still to fit chain and she can ride.....But the front wheel needs to be tjoobless converted today, need a shorter stem and a new 780mm bar With fresh grips.

As it stands, the garage dead lift promises the lightest bike I have owned in many years

If you want a great looking 785mm handlebar, I recommend the Funn Fatboy with 15mm rise. It is the best handlebar I have ever used.

Gluv, jy kan dit ook vir John en Hanri van Hoërskool Parel Valley skenk, hulle gebruik dit om fietse op te bou om skool kinders en veral skool meisies aan die sport bloot te stel.

I hate Spaz .... all the other minions on other brands want to talk while out riding, but they are ruining my street cred and I can't keep slowing down to stay with them, STRAVA beckons.

Managed to do 3 hours on specialized crave on saturday.

Was not too fond of the stiffness of this bike. Was scared I may buckle the wheels on some of the rollers on Saturday. Very aggressive geometry.

The carbon fork is stiff as flippen hell, there is no flex in any direction. Nice eccentric bb for chain tension.

Paintjob is something to behold...
