THERE IS NOT ANOTHER NINER LIKE THAT SO I WOULD BE 100% SURE, AM I ALLOWED TO RECOVER MY PROPERTY???

There are loads of armed Responce guys around.Ask one of them to arrest him.

Short answer is YES!!! remember you cannot steal something that has already been stolen, it's merely re-appropriation of the item and classified possession of, which would be justifiable seen as it is yours. Bearing in mind you are obviously 100% sure as indeed you would be in this case. I wouldn't try a citizens arrest thats far too complicated and dangerous, merely report it to the cops....

Let me explain it this way.

When we got two bike jackers with two bikes, the cops took the bikes first.

The people claiming it was their bikes had to prove proof of ownership to the Police .

I am more of the school of interrogation, ask the chap where he got the bike, if he claims he bought it from someone and he comes across as honest, tell him it's your bike, have pics on your phone and show them to him

Tell him that you are going to call the Police and wait for them so they can make an arrest because he bought stolen goods.

If he runs, that's most likely the dwis that originally stole the bike, if he stands there in shock I would take some pity on him, he might have known he got a good deal but really failed to think further as to the legal repercussions of his illegal purchase.

Take the bike, leave him some bokke for a KFC meal and say goodbdye.

Now some will say "go to the cops, let them interrogate him as he will lead them to the thief"

Two issues at hand for me here, a relatively decent guy who just failed to think a little further than "a good deal" now has to appear in court and secondly, the cops will do what they do best....NOTHING .

Bike found yet? It should be, there's eyes and ears all over the place. This bike is so unique even a blind person should be able to recognise it!

Dude has probably heard about the unique bike he stole, realized what a big mistake he made and went and buried it somewhere. Very unfortunate!

Doubt that. He's using it to commute to work - probably as a security guard!

That or it's already in a truck across the border - what happened to one of my bikes that was stolen. Found by cops when pulling over a truck on its way through the border... then stolen again from the COP SHOP!!!
