Not like you can drive down, but a bike and head home.

I bought parts stock on the previous 'auction' in a similar manner (bid submission etc). In this regard I may have some bids on some bikes - so some frames maybe heading into the classifieds soon.

If I recall Cycle Lab bought some stock already in the middle of this year and were selling a few BMC MTB's at good prices for what you were getting.

I've worked and ridden for Velo Life since they started. Catlike Helmets were never "only" in Velo Life stores, they just were associated with them because they did the most sales of the helmets. Our company Motion Cycles has been importing Catlike even before Velo Life started. So if you have had a problem with either Catlike, Selle SMP or Tune products, you know again know where to go... Expect a rash of Bergamont and BMC's. I was keen to put a bid or two but didn't in the end, just forget to be honest. I wonder what a lot of these when for and what the mark up is for those floating about? 50%? A couple seem to be at very decent prices in the classifieds so who knows what the winning bid was.

Granted, the reply was probably typed as a rapid response to the comments on this thread but what he says is true - there's a lot that went on behind the scenes that the average bikehub Joe is unaware of. I will vouch for Jaco. He's a good chap, running a good show in Motion Cycles. Great products and great service.
