Does it really matter what the two sides of the story are?  He'll have his and I'll have mine

At no point did I swear at him.  I've always had good things to say about him, his service and his shop.  Whatever preceded, still does not give him ANY reason to swear at me!!

If you're going to throw accusations around, back them up. Otherwise at worst it's slander, at best nobody will believe you and your rant is wasted. Either way, kinda pointless don't you think?

I'd suggest getting Admin to delete this thread and the cut-and-paste comment you left over on the service thread. Save face while you still can.

Theres three sides.... Yours, mine and the TRUTH.

I am a business owner and have sworn at clients once or twice before. No business owner would do that just for the laugh of it. Trust me, it took A LOT of frustration for me to get to the point of telling someone to F off! You probably deserved to be told jou moer!

Im for customer service, but some clients are real but holes!!!!

I depend on clients to help me fund my living. Sometimes enough is enough!

Some people cant handle the truth.

This.

That said, I've only ever politely asked one or two to leave. Swearing at a customer will never make you any friends, even if they are being obstreperous.

The only thing the OP did for me is that I really want to support Marco now! Thanks OP, I can visit a new store now and deal with a guy that has balls of steel! Standing up for what is right.

I'm pretty sure you've sworn at me. To be fair we were both somewhat intoxicated at the time.

Yes, it matters

Why? The stakes are high around this LBS's public profile and reputation value.

You're fully accountable and responsible for telling the whole truth and nothing but the whole truth.

And THEN let the chips fall where they may...

Yoh, JFD comes on The Hub, throws around some hectic accusations, then runs and hides when asked for the whole story. You're in for a whipping boy, I say keep running while you still can.

I vote this thread the "Darwin Hub thread of the year"

And you try this with a mere 16 Hub posts, Rouxtjie will have to deal with that....

There goes my reputation...

That said, I think anything said at Assy's house is inadmissible. Particularly when there's whisky involved.

The OP's reluctance to share the details is a clear indication he was probably in the wrong which resulted in such a reaction from the owner.

Another case for Occams Razor.

Yes shop owners are entitled to take that tone with customers so right now I am on the shops side, until more information is provided.

Wrong place to look for sympathy from a community if you arent very forthcoming with the information.
