Please understand that I am not looking into drugs and doping, I just wanted to read up on how lactic acid affects the body and how certain training methods could help with raising your lactic acid threshold. Came across guys saying that soda has been used for years to balance the PH in your body and to create a bit of a buffer against lactic acid....obviously allowing you to push a bit harder for a bit longer. Any thoughts?

I've always wondered what would happen if I take it before a race.

You wont find crème soda of any color on the shelves...hell even red or colorant free clear would be ok, I could just close my eyes and imagine its green.... now I'm dreaming of crème soda floats....
