Sadly mine isn't cycling related.

I bought my first house last year and I have just paid for my new kitchen and appliances.  I can't wait to have a decent kitchen where I can cook without hating the place.

THIS. Main reason (apart from garage) that I want a new house.

Sadly, just not possible at the moment.

House prices seems - maybe only to me - to be going up.  I bought the cheapest house in the best neighborhood I could afford and now the prices of homes around me are worth nearly more than R500k from the time when I bought.

But back to the kitchen... I think I might have wet dreams about this  - High gloss sprayed top cupboards in an off white, with Walnut veneer side panels and bottom cupboards, Zimbabwe black granite, and a Siemens 900mm gas/electric cooker and Siemens double door fridge.   :w00t:  For the first time in my life i haven't minded saving money for something so worth while.

EDIT: Typo

I see that you have that small mud guard on your front shock - do these work?  I was thinking of getting one but hadn't decided on it yet.

Yeah that is such a tough one, its a huge capital layout that cannot be reversed if you dont like it..... to mud guard or not to mudguard?? Think carefully before making such a massive decision!

Best purchase for 2015 was my entry for IM 70.3. It gave me the opportunity to train with and experience amazing things with my amazing wife

and non cycling (upgraded from a 30cm townhouse lawnmower) makes the exercise of mowing my 600m2 lawn a wee bit easier.
