This thread is bad!

Agreed, totally stupid thread (yet again). No, I don't ride Spez but this type of thread is stale and beyond boring! Ride and stop talking about what others choose to ride.....

Just say it like it is, they're kack bikes with brilliant marketing that appeals to sheep.

Sounds a lot like cannondale

Spez make awesome bicycles (both road and mtb). I don't think that it's an educated comment to call them bad bikes and only the s works models are very expensive. Their kit (shoes etc) are my favourite as well notwithstanding the fact that I ride an Anthem.

If a person makes a brand choice and spends their hard earned money on a dream bike one shouldn't point fingers. It's their choice and their cash.

Welcome diversity and you will live a richer life.

Yoh we have to feel for the OP, just look at his moniker, RM MTB hater to start things off so it is difficult to take him seriously. But ag shame, the boy can't afford a Spez even if he wanted one, I too could not afford a Spez I do now and here is my advise. Follow this carefully and you will find your yourself in a position to buy a Spez if you want one, and we know you do.

Step1 don't worry too much what others ride, just ride the bike you have.

Step 2 go to bed early ( don't forget to brush your teeth and have a wee first).

Step 3 rise early and ride the bike you have.

Step 4 go to work and work hard, don't gat kruip the boss and don't worry about what the others do focus on doing your job right.

Step 5 go home, we know you still live with mommy but be kind to her and remember to wash the the dishes after dinner. Don't worry about your siblings that have a better job and life than yours, focus on your life.

Step 6 be kind to animals, reincarnation can be a bitch! So pat the dog this could be you soon!

Step 7 get on the Internet, skip the porn sites and go straight to the mountain bike reviews and soak in the raves about how great Spez bikes are.

Repeat from step 2 please don't miss the wee part and add a pooh on alternate days because you're full of it!

Hi my name is Hairy

One upon a time I tested a 26er Stumpy (old school 120mm travel bike) and it was the best bike tested on the day for me.

Don't think I will ever own a spaz, but then again who knows.

Over and out.

Jees Guys, just a little bit of banter and  you spez guys get your overprices spez bikes in a notch. Relax take in the new year and enjoy your 100k bikes on the same trails where I can ride the same as you guys on my rocky.

Still failing to see the point of this thread...

But it's like an itchy bite... You shouldn't scratch it buuuut it's soooo difficult not too.

OP - knickers out of a knot please... No need to rub it in that you ride a Rocky - I won't rub it in that I ride a Spez.

If I choose to spend 100K on my bike then whose business is it but mine and my insurance company.

My bike did not cost 100K or even close to it... My bike was bought because it's the brand my LBS Spezialises in.. :P

It was one of the few bike brands I could test ride as I wanted too on trails I knew. The bike felt right. Being a short female and not sure on the whole 29er decision. Spez and bike shop assisted me to make my decision. And it's the right bike for me - hey I'm sure there are other bikes that would work for me but I was assisted thanx to Spez to make the bike work for me.

Simple as that. Ride what you like and don't judge others on their choices...

That sounds very much like a "size doesn't matter, it's about the motion of the ocean" kind of statement. Only guys with little boats say that ;)
