[will get me banned descriptive wording of the foul kind] motorists............driving a vehicle means you need to be aware of your surroundings................

Some people might just need a few "oog klappe" to wake them up.

Healing vibes tho the rider.........pity about the bike.

Will the **** driver be fined because of the 1m passing rule?

A charge needs to be laid to start the process. Contact Liz at PPA on 0216898421 for assistance on the process.

As physical contact was made between the vehicle and the cyclist the driver could be charged with negligent driving which is a greater offense than passing within 1 metre.

Not wanting to start any fights what i saw in traffic this morning, line of cars stand at robot waiting for it to turn green and two cyclists came from behind passing everyone on the left in a 50cm space and then when the cars starting driving one turning left with indicator on. Luckily the car saw the cyclists and hooted and they braked.

Do not always jump to conclusions...

Yeah, I have come close lots of times with vehicles pulling trailers. Lets not forget about trucks and busses. Thats why if do a road ride its always at the crack of dawn.

Please lay a charge against this driver.

Examples need to be made!

I'm glad your friend is alive and recovering. Too much sadness this week.

Get well soon!

THAT IS A VERY NARROW ROAD. GONNA STUGGLE TO CONVICT THE DRIVER OF THE 1METER LAW.  HOPE HE RECOVERS SOON.

I've come very close to being taken out by a trailer - a garden service towing their refuse to the dump on Rosmead Ave. Felt the wind of the trailer wheel passing my leg and must've missed my handlebar by centimeters! Proper kakked myself

No matter how narrow....the driver is supposed to slow down and wait till its safe....then pass the cyclist. ....prosecute this driver to the fullest extent of the law I say....????????????
