realistically how many different mules are there or would there normally be......is all the 'R&D' just PR once the frame has been designed on a computer and then welded up?

 

*disclaimer: not trolling, just curious.

Generally speaking that will greatly depend on budget and scale of the task at hand. For most, if not all manufacturers, computers can do quite a bit these days.

I guess I would alone in thinking these momsen's are not terribly attractive to look at. Ms

Making that down tube less of a "s" would bump it up a notch in the aesthetics departments

Very personal as with all things. Reaction of the people who have asked about it on the trails or who I know and have seen it has been good all round.

Momsen Mount Graham 2.20 front and rear. Front has been replaced since the pic was taken with a Vee Crown F. Can be seen in the first pics.

Running a 120-140 mm fork would suggest 100-120 mm rear travel?

Same here. Have to be able to mount at least one proper size water bottle inside a front triangle to please me.

Nope that is the imfamous top tube saddle bag attachment point. On all the newer VIPA frame.

seems like a pretty good idea for those folks who like to ride marathons.

 

should rather be a solid carbon fibre aero box on there. Will look nicer and save 5Watts of power
