At the top end of Albert Farm (the rocky section next to the Town Houses) there was a lone lady rider who was quite clearly struggling. I wanted to help her by giving her a hand up the slope but where to put my hand! This thread came to mind and I dropped the idea toot sweet! Didn't want Dips waiting for me with a brick at the top of the koppie You will be amazed at how many guys try this trick!!! If you want to help a lady, first ask her and then if she says yes, place your hand on her BACK, not butt. The hand doesn't need to go lower. About 8 years ago I had some guy following me for a long time in the Argus and he made a comment to his friend about my rear end. My dad over heard and politely asked him if "he likes his daughters backside". Poor bloke didn't know what to do.

They touched your lady.. And you the attacked the perpetrator of the slapping out of rage.. Assault But you'll still be hauled off in a police van and sit in a cell until a magistrate posts bail..

Sven, seems like you have a real issue with understanding the law and insults and how these things operate.Here is a deal, come and slap my lady's butt .I will see you in court after that ,we will see how kind the courts are towards you after I defended my woman .

So the rambos on here beating up the perpetrator would land up in police cells.. In the UK a far more sexual enlightened country than SA.. If I slap a, colleague on the ass it is a sexual harassment internal case.. The police are not called as no criminal offence has taken place.. Thus no assault.

Last time I put my hand on another cyclist's butt(female butt, and with consent btw. I couldn't get a grip on the saddle ), it was to push them up a hill when they were struggling. My reward for this outstanding act of gallantry: I tore something in my gut/groin, now I can't cycle without lots of pain. So much for #!%* Valor... Just not worth it Dudes.

Luckily she was a good sport after i collected my brains off the floor and explained myself to her . lesson learnt

AT least then we can do something about this. It seems not so. And like many rants on the Hub its a one poster and 9 pages later its the usual Hubber trash talking. Maybe the Mods can close this down because of the lack of any useful info before it really gets bad.
