Frosty Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 That's "timed" finishers. There are people that ride without a chip - I have no idea how many, but I have seen a number of people riding without a chip (mainly those doing it for a corporate challenge or a dare and start right at the back).

I know, I've started at 5:45 before and got back to the start after refuelling at about 09:00 (an hour after the charity /corporates have left).

Frosty Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 The start times have to move out due to the Woman's UCI 1.1 event. They need clear roads for their event to be a fair contest. So many people will be starting later than usual.

I started in SS batch @ 10:40 I have a work colleague who was planning on riding for a charity but it got to expensive for his budget so now he will be doing his 1st ever road race / event this year. Quite interested to see what seeding he gets or doesn't get. Poor guy is going to die in the heat.
