Anyone have the stats for the Gabema Doordrift climb in Paarl (Taalmonument tar road from bottom to gate?

Although, the road does have one dip in it, so would that disqualify it from an Everest attempt?

P.s. I'm not thinking of doing it (duh!).  Just curious.

Could have been on leave? Who cares if he has a day job?

LOL, thanks for all the comments my fellow chapeaus.  I will never be the fastest or most talented but I have a heart and lungs that any medium sized elephant would be proud of, so endurance is my thing!

Yes, I have a job at Fine+Rare in London, but wifey and I are on our first holiday without the kids (x3), back in Hout Bay for a 10 day holiday/Argus/Everesting in the heavenly place/town/city that was our home between 2007 and 2012 and will always be where the heart is.

Well, my congratulations to you, Paul. Couldn't believe it when Don started posting the pics to his news feed. A truly stellar feat for a normal joe.

That couch must have been bliss!
