porqui Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Get an allan key one size up and use a file or water paper to slightly taper the tip.Or use an imperial key. Just beware of the cheap EZ-outs they tend to break.

There are things I have patience for, titanium is not one of them...Luckily I have access to a spark eroder.... but listening to the tech (my race partner - who you have met) grumping about the setup means I prefer not to use it.... But one or two diamond bits are useful - luckily I have several bit of old dental kit from my dads old practice - nothing like a bit spinning at about 100k rpm to cut stuff... amazing bits of tech those handsets are.

I've been at an undercover farming expo for the last few days so there's been no time to work on the stripped bolt(I wish this was a stripped blonde). I will be collecting the quickset steel tomorrow morning so should get that part of the process sorted tomorrow eve. If all goes to plan the offending Allen head bolt(damn you for not being the striped blonde) will be removed on Friday morning .
