With little over six weeks to go until the starter’s gun fires and sends participants of the 2015 Nedbank sani2c on their way, defending champions Kevin Evans and Max Knox have confirmed they will be back again in an attempt to retain their title.

Do you think they even have a chance based on their Epic results?

Suppose it depends on the field...but no, I don't think so.

They had a crap epic but I reckon they will do well. Sani is not technical so the racing will be closer

I'm honestly surprised these guys even have sponsors.

Not really sure what you are on about. Max won National XCM#2 at Sabie against strong competition.

 

Perhaps they knew they were not going to be competitive at the Epic, but used it as build up for the rest of the season.

Max is in good form, Kevin is struggling.

Both those guys are class athletes. Thats why they have sponsors. They might be struggling at the moment, but they will be back. Especially Max!

Happy to surprise you ;-) sponsors make racing possible and I'm very grateful to mine. However, it wouldn't make a difference if i didn't have sponsors. I love riding my bike and hopefully if I'm blessed with a long life i plan on enjoying riding till my last day ;-)
