Not sure if you are aware, but the 42km is more difficult than the 50km. So the 60km will be a lot more difficult as that is obv more difficult than the 42km. Don't let the distance fool you. Then again the 60km is a lot more bang for your buck

I'm in pretty good shape, and yes I was aware that 42km was tougher than 50km. I only did the 50km last year because it was only a couple of days after Ramadaan and would have lost strength, so took it easy. But that won't be the case this year, a bit more prep time. If I could do the 75km I would, I do well over long distances and enjoy long lung busting climbs. Go big or go home

you only get invited to the 75km so all the riders there will not cause a queue

Problem is that its too easy to get into the 75km, just send a mail and you are in.  I did the 60km last year and we caught a lot of the 75km backmarkers up the 2nd climb up to Helshoogte.  A few years ago the 75km was a small bunch of Elite / Pro rders only.

yeah those are the clevers guys, if they didn't do that they would've been the ones stuck behind the less technical riders on the single track from the 60km groups.
