Baracuda Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 ONly ever heard bad things about the tundra.Sat on one for the first time this weekend and its like sitting on a weirdly shaped rock! It is so bad to the point of being really annoying - why don't Giant just supply the bike at a cheaper price without the saddle instead of wasting our time with that rubbish. I also lasted 200m on a new Fizik Tundra and thought "you cannot be serious, this is just not a saddle, why not cable-tie a piece of wood on the seat post"

DR ◣◢ Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 I cant remember if I was a Bull or a chameleon... I know my hol measured 135mm.... I was very embarrassed when they asked me to measure it instore the first time and they told me to wash the ruler when I gave it back. Width, not depth!

FrankieKnuckles Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Yeesh I've had the worst pain in my coccyx over the last few days. Just returning from injury now, Fizik Tundra saddle, some lekker endurance bibs, saddle straight....yet when I get off my bike I have to do it slowly as pain shoots through my hol like I had a sleepover in a community jail cell for a minor offense. Anyone been through this, please tell me there's light at the end of this dark "tunnel" for me. I've thought about using some of our baby's teething gel to numb it, but the minty flavor makes my eyes tear up.

Even a rainy 100 Miler. Try a bike fit before you ditch a saddle.
igg Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 I had a similar issue. It went away when I switched all my saddles to a wider one with a large cutout that runs the entire length of the saddle (155mm Spez Romin Evo). Also, my junk no longer gets numb .

Long Wheel Base Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 I had the same issue as you about a year ago. I googled it and one of the things It said was had I moved my saddle recently. Which I had done about 2 weeks prior to the injury. I put my saddle back to where it was, rested and never had an issue again. PS: I ride selle but have ridden the tundra and I had no problems. I prefer a hard saddle and according to fizik i'm a snake.
