Hi Hubbers ,

Anyone know the website to follow to see/ get all the info DD are compiling?

Apparently lots of individual data to be seen from various riders .

Could make for interesting reading .

So where on this site do you get the data?

I've registered but I don't know where to get the data. :cursing:

Racetec gets the results up in less than 4 hours of the end of the race for all the riders on an easy to use portal, no email sign up and more than 250 riders.

They also work out a seeding :P

I think you are dumbing it down a bit - what DD is actually doing and measuring that is.

Racetec is taking a start and finish time... that is it and great for its intent and purpose.

DD is actually tracking live stats from each rider while out on the road - this is from the black stick under their seats.

Two very different things you are comparing.

The DD effort is similar, and some say even more involved and greater, than data gathered on Formula One.

I for one am very excited to see what is going to come from them in the next few years (remember they have a 5 year deal with ASO)... there are so many possibilities and spin-offs...

Hope my cheque is in the post Mr. Ord  :whistling:

Seeding... saariously? What was Alberto Contador's seeding before the TDF...

#winkwink

I suspect DD are tracking a lot more than location and times .... probably not allowed to release all the data by ASO or whoever it is that owns the rights to the data

Ha ha.. I know, was just noting they are taking there time with data. The further from the stage the less interesting the data becomes.

If you want to see the interesting stuff you can go look on Strava where you see the riders actual power data, cadence, temp, heart rate from stages etc.

Nee hemel... that would be potentially depressing

Ja look I was just being patriotic about Didata, I wish we could see some of the stats live on TV as it happens but I suppose the teams will object as it could give vital clues about a riders condition to the other team directors....

I actually thought the data would be available live.. so it's pretty much bleh if not..

ja will be good to see it a little sooner after a stage finish and possibly also live on TV.

imagine watching live and also seeing live cadence, HR and power data on screen - not impossible...

maybe there are some restrictions put in place by teams/riders, I dunno.

they could also be going through some technical difficulties, I dunno.

Ok, first but of live data I have seen from DD, the average speed of the riders during the crash was exactly 42.37km/h.

Ouch.
