dev null Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/sagan-abandons-the-vuelta-a-espana-after-motorbike-incident/ Spanish fans won't be happy. I hope they give the organisers a grilling. And yet again it is a Shimano vehicle. Teams should mayne boicot Shimano until they catch a wake-up.
Bianchisti Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Heheheee. Called Adrenalin. When I watched the clip I had cold shivers down my legs. Happened so quick. Even if he hit that barrier, they would have shouted louder. Find that Vamos! Vamos! hilarious. LOLLMAO! Yeah the best bit is they almost instinctively go for the bike, get him upright and going ASAP. By the time he realize what’s just happened his already 2kms down the road. Although I have to add, you can tell when a crash is really serious. I do believe if he’d hit that Armcor the reaction would’ve been different.
Gen Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Bah.. to think they have to go up that climb. . Again[emoji15]
Gen Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 What a finish!I was cheering so loud.. .. incredible absolutely amazing. .

Patchelicious Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 What insane power must Dumoulin be pushing to out climb the worlds best who all weigh much less than him.
Gen Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 What insane power must Dumoulin be pushing to out climb the worlds best who all weigh much less than him. That was incredible willpower. I was convinced Froome was going to win, even told hubby.. ag now we going to see him do that funny lunge on the line again and then there came Dumoulin.
Patchelicious Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 That was incredible willpower.Maybe be so, but it still needs to translate to force into pedal to move a mass up a hill If he weighs 10% more than the others, it means he must be pushing more than 10% more power than them to beat them.

But for me that was really some grit he showed.. really nice to watch, he has been fighting all week to protect his position and get back in red.. For how long he will be able to stay in red I am not sure, won't be too long I think, won't be able to stay with them when those climbs get longer and longer and the favourites start hitting each other on those long climbs... but that was a brutal 4km climb climb today.
SwissVan Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/sagan-abandons-the-vuelta-a-espana-after-motorbike-incident/ Spanish fans won't be happy. I hope they give the organisers a grilling. And yet again it is a Shimano vehicle. Teams should mayne boicot Shimano until they catch a wake-up. On Eurosport today they said shimano sponsor the support team but do not provide the motorbike riders. These support guys are there to help the teams, its the idjit organizers and their riders that need to be feed to the lions...WTF they even fined Sagan 300 Chf because he lost his temper...stupidity reigns "The motorcycle involved belonged to the Shimano neutral support team - one whose reputation was sullied when a support car knocked Jesse Sergent (Trek Factory Racing) down when he was part of a breakaway in the Tour of Flanders. However on Sunday Shimano claimed that the motorbike pilot was provided by the Vuelta organisation and not part of the Shimano neutral support team".
