But hopefully it will pay off in the end! Actually I'm just looking at it right now, also to start 2nd July for 16 weeks to Amsterdam. Trying to pace adjust it to my actual Goal Time. I've done the sub3 program 3x and I've had good results every time.

Mudsimus Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 My qualifier is on 2nd September - Vaal River City Marathon - and I am aiming to do a 3:30, and at worst sub 3:40 to get a C seeding for Comrades.Do you have more info? I also want to do an early qualifier. Looking for an easy one.. ????

tjommies3 Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 see attached, there is a sub4 as well Thanks - I'm gonna work with this (sub 3:30) and tweak it according to where I am currently. My mileage is already at week 9 but since I have 11 weeks to race day, I'll work from week 6.
tjommies3 Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Do you have more info? I also want to do an early qualifier. Looking for an easy one.. I did it last year but I wasn't well prepared. It's a double lap race with around 340m of elevation. https://www.vaalrivercitymarathon.com/ https://secure.onreg.com/onreg2/front/step1.php?id=4151

tjommies3 Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 I've converted my watch to miles... There's no way I'm gonna try and convert that to km. I've watched way too much TDF with Phil and Paul always giving the distance in 'old money' - it's actually quite easy when you stick to the round numbers
shaper Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 (edited) Just go to www.my.asics.com and you can create a plan online setting your goal and time and input your current data (previous race time) and it will create an online training plan that you can follow. You just input your completed runs and it will adjust the plan along the way https://my.asics.com/uk/en-gb/running_plans/half_marathon Edited June 18, 2018 by shaper candz1, Andrew Steer and Hacc 3
