Craai Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 Any suggestion on a set with internal memory? There are probably others but the only ones that come to mind are the Samsung Gears. Don’t know much about them though seven 1

Hacc Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 If you have to recommend a marathon to a novice for next year, which one would it be?I am thinking a single lapper.... but there are not many out there. It is one of my friends, she is not a fast runner and not too concerned about time or the route profile.

It was actually my first marathon and I loved it. Hacc 1
SeaBee Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 Agreed - Cape Town marathon all the way. Nice flat route, plus a great vibe that will carry her! And with the current layout, the dull bit (for me) is behind you early - and downhill. Coming up that bit from Newlands at the end of the run as it was a couple of years ago... man, that was a joy killer of note. Until you hit the gardens! Then the smile was back... Hacc 1

Ronniek Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 So having done only two Oceans so far and with the draw today for those that have done seven and more I was quite surprised to receive my confirmation email today after the first draw. Makes me wonder if they perhaps overplayed their hand somehow with the whole ballot scheme. tjommies3 and GrantMcD1 2

Both novices for the race. Starting to wonder if luck had anything to do with it. Edit: I checked a few of my club mates and friends quickly. Found only one that hasn’t been confirmed yet [emoji2375] Edited November 26, 2019 by Ronniek
