PE PE PE, no wait SPAIN SPAIN SPAIN!

if you have lots of money and spare holiday leave - go to spain. if you're budget but can train more do PE. this sounds like an apples and pears question.

I have quite a few mates who have raced overseas and while it is fantastic, they did mention that it was a bit bleak not having family or friends there racing with them and at the end there was hardly they knew.

Not sure if anyone would be going with you or not.

1st prize, Spain with some mates!

fully understand this.raced Auckland and post race blues was bad .sitting in a hotel room with your medal and a bottle of bubbly.

What is the risk of having terrible weather in Spain? That is my problem with PE, you invest all that time in training and it could be a properly miserable day with gale force winds.

I don't swim or wear a speedo and soccer socks, but is this a trick question???

I don't wear those silly soccer socks not even for recovery.(that's why there is beer).I don't do speedo either for the sake of my fellow triathletes's eyes.

studied in PE and yes the weather is a fickle thing.but truth be told I don't realy care about the weather.I have been on the mtb in - 20 celcius in Canada but also in plus 40 in Australian outback.i always think to myself I have seen worse when racing or riding or swimming.

If you going for a good result or time then probably Spain. Don't know that course but the new PE route is considered on of the hardest around.

I would go to Spain and then make PE my second one...and 3rd and 4th..

And that medal will mean even more then.

I went to the IM 70.3 in Cebu, Philiphines recently and the international atmosphere is awesome. First prize Spain with a mate and or family.

Why not do both the IM 70.3 in Jan in EL and one in Spain.

Good luck
