Just found out that a fellow cyclist has been killed on Swaartkoppies Rd near the new mall, JHB south. No further info yet. RIP

Hi guys and gals, the guy that was killed on swartkoppies was a construction worker. Sadly he did pass as result of injuries.

Shame man. I ride past and greet many of the workers on bikes from the mall and Aspen Hills estate. Not lekker...

It's a real shame. I have noticed especially during the last couple of days the section by the new mall is getting very and confusing dangerous.

Drivers are becoming more inconsiderate and not obeying the rules of the road.

 

So often I see cars jumping red lights and stop streets, not even pausing for a second and its getting worse.

 

Such sad news :-(

Something needs to be done about the speed cars are travelling on klipriver and swartkoppies. I drive up klipriver every morning going to work and there are sometimes where I want to stop and pull the driver out his car slap him hard and ask if actually knows what a do#$ he is being.

 

Never mind the taxis that over take in the yellow lane because you wont get out there way - that's a whole other conversation.
