I will be there in 1A with my Bloemfontein Cycleworld kit (Blue green and white) on an Old Cannondale Supersix - white / Black and some red with my white JAWBONES... But as you almost outsprint Nolan Hoffman once, I believe I will only ride with you the first km from start

DJR Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Who/where do I join for a bike ride on Thu/Fri/Sat before the main event in Cape Town?Preference will be for scenic non-CTCT routes and not so much on trainingWe always ride Tafelberg Road on the Saturday. It makes for an easy relaxed 20 km ride with absolutely mind blowing views and a bit of short sharp climbing if you want. We park on Signal Hill or beyond the lower Cable Station and ride from there. (I don't like riding my bike up and down Kloof Nek Road, the traffic is just too crazy for me.) Just be careful where you cross over Kloof Nek Road. Alternatively the West coast cycle lane is pretty flat and relaxed. Once past Paarden Eiland it is beautiful too. The view of the mountain is at its best all the way coming back.
