Now he can go on loan for OBE in the Giro '17. Would be a nice break before he starts his build up to 2020.

Lol

I was thinking that he should join OBE and go give Flanders a go.[emoji6]

Speaking of changing things up a bit. Maybe someone should tell Sagan about the Epic.

Perhaps Yaraslav should join him for a beer and chat about it tonight

So best cycling kit goes to Sweden.. too beautiful, best podium outfit...('cause it wasn't a tradition tracksuit). Sweden.. and best tracksuit award goes to the Dutch.

Moment of the day number 1
Sagan going from row 7 to the leaders in 90 seconds.

Moment of the day 2.. well has to be Nino finally getting his Olympic gold

Moment of the day 3.. this

And moment 4... our very own Alan Hatherly with a great result..at only 20 years old.

Wonder what mechanical he had though

Apparently his chain broke and by the time he had ran around to the tech zone he was lapped and pulled off.

Feel bad for Sagan, however most of those guys know how to throw their bikes around safely without attracting any technicals..

Would have been awesome if he tried to stay with the leaders.. wonder if we will see any more from him.

It happens.. we've seen the top xco also puncture in the past Nino, Kulhavy, Julien.... and we saw a lot of riders with flats yesterday that 2e lap was probably the most flats I have seen in a very long time.. perhaps the wet course added to some of the drama.?

As for Sags rocking up to more xco events.. mmm.. Maybe a couple of the smaller races every year in the 2e half of the season (depending of what the world champs road race course looks like)

Hey maybe we'll even see him switch to mtb full time in 4-5 years time... he is still only 26[emoji33]

And it cannot be complete without the Nino whip.

same pic - different lap...what i found interesting here is the people spectating through their phone...one wonders if we are too pre-occupied with that perfect instagram shot instead of just spectating

now imagine how awesome that pic could have been if everyone standing in the back ground were actually spectating and clapping hands whilst he came past with the whip!
