Technicalities. What I implied is that it has to be an event, that you must pay to enter, not just a ride.

That is probably one of the most unfair mods they've made.

it's on their website's landing page, but I got the first info here. LOL.

It's sad that when looking for updates for Vitality Active Rewards etc, I come here. You guys collectively have a lot more contact with the call centre and have more problems than I deal with atm. I also use this as a resource to find potential glitches!

From a Hubber's perspective, this is the first place I come get the news on Vitality - not ideal, but then I am selective on the information I subscribe to... FB, Twitter, Website, etc.

At least we have a "combined" place to share and view our thoughts.

But most of the events now have a vitality hospitality.. where you can get snacks and freebies.... so can start theoretically offsetting costs apart from whatever money you get back

For sure.

Look 3000 points is too many for a two hour ride, I agree. To get 3000 you must have suffered and that's what it shows. But surely the Barberton/Sabie Marathons should get you more than a measly 600 points. The people riding Ultras definitely don't need the points motivation to get fitter, they're already fit as f.

I don't understand the scaling. That's my issue with all of this.

how

Just thought of an easier way... if you can upload your bryton any of the options using tapriik  https://tapiriik.com/

Sync that to Strava via Tapriik

Create a Garmin account (even if you do not own a garmin)

Sync your Strava with the fake Garmin account

Then sync Vitality with the Garmin Account.

Edit: You can link both Strava and Garmin to Vitality, so one of them will get picked up for the points

This !!

Look, the rewards don't drive me. To date I've not claimed a reward every single one has been given to others in my social group. The points for effort is what tickled me. These changes would never affect the amount of hours I do on the bike. So basically we're back to discovery making serious gains for my active lifestyle.
