Bit also had a blueberry kefir shake before taking my weight. And a glass of water to take a headache pill

Height: 1.81m

Weight: 97.3kg

BMI: 30

It would be nice to get down to 95kg, but the real goal is to stay under 100kg over the festive season.

Weigh in this morning: 98.1kg

Not quite 95kg, but happy that I didn't go over 100kg like I usually do.

Firstly...well done to everyone who managed to loose weight...no matter how much big or small...unfortunately i was weak and gave in to the temptation over christmas and still battling to get back on track...I may not have lost weight but at least being part of this thread may have saved me going 5 kg + over...and is affecting the way i eat...for example for me to put down a muffin after only eating half of it is a sign that i am improving...i would normally just eat the whole thing regardless if i am full or not...what is important is i am aware of the problem and taking steps to fix it.

109.1 kg...after riding a 100 km in under 4 hrs for the first time yesterday (only done it 3 times) and eating less than i have been recently...I thought i would see a different figue this morning.

being a "heavy" cyclist brings more challenges than just your health...keeping up with the pack on a hill...legs bumping on your gut if you decide to go the road bike route...not such a big problem for a mtb...how ridiculous you look in cycling kit (as in my profile pic)...etc etc...even purchasing a bicycle starts becoming an issue once you go over the 100 kg mark.

new thread "2016 motivation for getting lighter and faster" sharing experiences as we continue with the weight loss journey and start seeing the trophies in strava...10 PRs :)

I am happy with my 2015 results...dropped 20 kg in total and improved on ever segment on strava and even managed 1 KOM...so lets see what the rest of 2016 will bring...hopefully i will reach my target of being below 100 kg sooner than later.

by the way my fat must have turned to muscle...or so i am told ;)

Alea iacta est.

And Lurch the Stalker has crept up on us again - Well done

Haha, technically I didn't sneak up on anyone if you look at the numbers, I had a steady decline ;) (I'm just hoping nobody sneaks in at the final minute and beats me... ;) )

Well done to the guys that tried, certainly was fun watching and also competing (as a sub-90kg) just to show that us skinnier lads also have to watch what we eat. We just don't get to brag about it or win the highly desired prize.

I forgot to weigh myself this morning, so I guess my final weigh-in later will be a few hundred grams up than what a morning weigh-in would be. Guessing it will be about 78kg which will be almost a Kg heavier than the start (+1.29%)

I went down a whole 100g in the last week. In total: 92.4 down from 96.1 (week before the comp started).

Oh well, I think I drank 5 out of 7 days (last week of holidays and trying to clear off the wine rack before I move back to Aus) so I'm not so disappointed.

I'm going to see if I can get 2.4 kg down in the next 4 weeks (less alcohol, same amount of exercise).

 But really, hats off to you mate.

A steady decline over the festive season is awesome, even Lance would be proud of that determination  .

The secret is not having a life, haha. :P

Seriously though, I only drank alcohol on Christmas Eve and seriously limited the intake of chocolate and things.

It was not easy, but I am extremely competitive so that kept me going haha.

LOL... i had major tummy moment on Friday evening after eating 2 slabs of "no sugar" chocolate and on Saturday morning weighed 77.5 kg's...2.5 kg's less than what i weighed on Friday morning. Luckily everything has returned to normal including my weight.

I don't normally eat sugar free chocolate but tried them on Friday not because of the "sugar free" thing but because they were new on the shelf.... never again...have never had such severe stomach cramps and spuitpoep as that
